Cold Pressed Castor Oil (Virgin Grade)

Manufactured by Nova Industries

Nova Industries manufactures premium Cold Pressed Castor Oil, the purest form of oil extracted exclusively through mechanical pressing at controlled temperatures (2$< 50^\circ C$).3

Unlike solvent-extracted or heat-treated oils, our Cold Pressed grade retains the natural antioxidant profile, vitamins, and distinct fatty acid structure of the seed.4 It is free from hexane residues and bleaching agents, making it the “Gold Standard” for high-end cosmetics, aromatherapy, and pharmaceutical formulations.5

1. Manufacturing Process (The “Virgin” Difference)

The quality of Cold Pressed oil is defined by what we don’t do to it.

  • Mechanical Extraction: Seeds are crushed in a hydraulic or screw press under high pressure but low temperature.6
  • No External Heat: The process temperature is strictly monitored to ensure it never exceeds 7$50^\circ C$, preventing the thermal degradation of the ricinoleic chains.8
  • No Solvents: Absolutely no chemical solvents (like Hexane) are used.9 The oil is simply filtered to remove suspended solids, resulting in a product that is 100% natural and “Virgin.”10

2. Key Applications

Premium Cosmetics & Skin Care

  • Hair Growth Oils: This is the specific grade used in “Hair Regrowth” formulations. The retained natural nutrients and Vitamin E are believed to stimulate hair follicles more effectively than refined oils.11
  • Anti-Aging Creams: Its natural antioxidant content makes it a preferred base for anti-aging serums and deep-moisturizing lotions.12

Pharmaceuticals & Aromatherapy

  • Carrier Oil: Due to its purity and lack of chemical residues, it is the preferred carrier oil for blending essential oils in aromatherapy.13
  • Medicinal: Used in traditional medicine packs and topical healing ointments where “purity” is the primary consumer requirement.14

3. Technical Specifications (TDS)

Nova Industries guarantees a hexan-free, cold-processed product.
